To maintain peace between the rival nations of Teyvat, the archon Zhongli is tasked with spying on a reclusive leader. To get close to him, Zhongli must enroll a child in the same academy as their children, posing as a parent. He adopts Nahida, a mind-reading orphan, and marries Raiden Shogun, an undercover assassin. Unbeknownst to each other, Nahida knows both their secrets while Twilight and Raiden Shogun remain unaware of each other's true identities.
