THE TEAM
“All for one and one for all,” as they say — nothing can truly be accomplished alone. These comrades of Kenny help shape his journey of creative growth into a whirlwind of fun and fulfillment: from photoshoots to video shoots, to walking the halls of anime conventions and back again!
THE TEAM
Brian Quan
is the creative mastermind who knows how to bring people together for some serious fun! Brian and Kenny met in high school and quickly discovered their mutual love for Yu-Gi-Oh! and inevitably anime. Since then, Brian has worked tirelessly to build a community of like-minded individuals, collaborating with talented artists and even catching the attention of some big-name voice actors and sponsors like Square Enix, Crunchyroll, and Comic Alley!
As the Coordinator of this vibrant and diverse group, Brian is always on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities to showcase his skills and connect with others who share his passion for all things cosplay. From unconventional sandwich-making to rubbing elbows with celebs, Brian's Instagram @kishidou and the team's YouTube channel Kishidope are your ticket to a world of adventure and inspiration. So come along for the ride and let Brian show you how to turn your wildest dreams into reality!
Andrew Huynh
is an essential member of Kenny's team and has been a friend since their childhood. Their shared interests in video games and anime led to Andrew's passion for making talents shine on camera as the Head Gaffer & Grip. He has a sharp eye and works closely with the team to achieve the perfect shot. With years of experience under his belt, Andrew has found unique opportunities that allow him to be right in the heart of the action.
In his free time, Andrew loves nothing more than gathering with friends to play tabletop games. If you're looking for someone who is passionate about bringing out the best in every shot and is always up for a good game, Andrew is your guy!
Jack Lin
being the multi-talented DIT keeps the set running smoothly with his keen eye for detail and quick reflexes. While he practices information technology in his daily life, he excels in his role on set, where he oversees the equipment, props, and safety of the cast and crew.
Jack's journey began in the pen spinning community, where he gained recognition for his unique talents at a young age. Now, he brings that same passion and precision to the world of film, ensuring that everything runs like clockwork behind the scenes.
When he's not busy on set, you can catch Jack showcasing his impressive craftsmanship on his YouTube channel, JackyMacky. From pen spinning to knife throwing, he's always up for a challenge and eager to share his skills with the world.
KISHIDOPE
The Kishidope project was founded under the guise of showcasing everyone’s talents and interests related to anime and posted for all to see in the online world, whether that be talking about crazy cartoon physics in a closed-off garage or even involving each of the members to explore fun events miles and miles away just for a snapshot. From reenacting tropes normally seen in shows, tasting and even ranking Japanese delicacies, to even just hanging out with friends, all are welcome for the ride and all the Team asks is that the viewer has a Kishidope day!
Pen Spin Breakdowns on Anime
Under his pen-spinning expertise, the Kishidope team captured Jack in his natural habitat with a twist: watching anime but in an educational setting to prove once and for all whether this hidden art is bound only to cartoon physics.
Photoshoot: Spy x Family x… Christmas?!
As the Team gets ready for the holidays, an idea from Brian came up to invite others to collaborate in fun and imaginative settings within the world of the hit anime “Spy x Family”. This what-if photoshoot depicts our Forger family as they not only invited friends but chaotic fun as well!
Danmaku! Bullet-time Fun!
With the involvement of complicated rules, deep-learning mechanics, and multiple game-winning strategies now present in a variety of board games, it’s up to our intellectual game master Andrew to help break it all down into bite-sized pieces for not only the Team but the viewer as well!
